Hot Blood in a Cold, Cold World is an album of a lot of quick "one takes" intended to capture the creative process and the raw unpolished feelings and energy of that process. The production usually only consists of drums, bass, one guitar and vocal. The songs are often sloppy and unfinished. The topics are also rather raw. Lust. Hot Blood. And, I love first takes with more emotion that finesse.
Some of the audio files have been lost or damaged. I'm currently trying to retrieve what I can. The original for "In the Heat of the Night" was lost and I attempted to rerecord it (included here) but it was a failure. The original was much better.
