As with most of my albums, "Basic Black" is a little dark, especially with title subjects such as "Trouble" and "Temptation" setting the mood for the disk.
From cynical dry humor (What's So New) to hopes and dreams (When I'm Dreaming) to restlessness and despair (I Love the Night).
Again, by this time, I've decided that it's much more fun to capture the feeling on one or two takes versus polished production and perfect performances. And, since I couldn't do the latter anyway...I really like this one...just me, I'm sure.
